GLAMOUR BIRDS

In 1967 Ford continued to increase the size and level of luxury of the Thunderbird. Now the "Glamour Birds" were available with four doors that opened from the centre of the car "suicide doors" or so they have been called. The idea was not new, because it harkened back to the 1920's & 1930's design which allowed passengers to easily enter and exit the rear salon.
